Mr. CHOI is a partner in Hangang and specializes in preparing and prosecuting patent applications in a wide range of robotics, biomedical engineering, nanotechnology, and machine technology. He also has professional knowledge of technology valuation.
Prior to joining the firm, he worked at KIM, CHOI & LIM, Korean law firm where he handled various IP matter such as prosecuting patent, utility model and industrial design, handling appeals and lawsuits for his clients. He also previously worked as an In-house Counsel with IP center of Samsung Electronics where he has experienced patent & technology analysis regarding patentability, validity and infringement.
Mr. Choi graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering (B.S.), finished the semiconductor processing education course hosted by Seoul National University's Inter-university Semiconductor Research Center, and completed the language programs in Chinese language at Beijing Normal University.
