Mr. SEO is a co-managing partner of Hangang. His expertise covers patent applications as well as appeals and lawsuits in a wide range of electrical and electronics areas, including physics, electronic engineering, electric circuitry, telecommunication.
Mr. Seo represented a number of well-known Korean IT corporations such as Webcash Co. Ltd., Bizplay Co. Ltd. and Coocon, Inc. in Korean Patent Office and courts of various levels. Mr. Seo also worked on strategies and briefs for various patent appeals and litigations at the District Court, Patent Court and Supreme Court. He also collaborates with foreign counsels in the prosecution of large foreign patent applications in various countries including the United States, Europe, Japan, China, Taiwan, Singapore, and others.
Mr. Seo graduated from Seoul National University's Department of Physics, and he finished the semiconductor processing education course hosted by Seoul National University's Inter-university Semiconductor Research Center in 2008 and the technology valuation education course hosted by Korea Patent Attorneys Association in 2009.
