Mr. KIM is co-managing partner of Hangang. He has substantial experience in obtaining patents in diverse technology areas including wireless communication, UX/UI, AI, display, semiconductor. Specially, he has expertise in standard essential patent (SEP).
He drafted and prosecuted patent specifications related to 3GPP LTE/LTE-A, NR, 6G and IEEE 802.11 WiFi. Also, he analyzed standard essential patents related to 3GPP LTE/LTE-A NR, 6G and IEEE 802.11 WiFi with preparing claim charts.
Prior to joining Hangang, Mr. KIM worked at MARU IP firm and SAMSUNG as an In-house Counsel. Mr. KIM graduated from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) with Electrical Engineering degree (B.S, double major: department of business and technology management). Mr. KIM is a registered Korean Patent Attorney (2010).
